Have you even wondered what it feels like to come face to face with the impressive mountain gorilla in one of Rwanda’s key conservation sites? The Volcanoes National Park is one of the world’s last sanctuaries where you can find these majestic but also endangered primates. The drive to the park takes two hours from Kigali which makes it possible to do gorilla trekking as part of a day trip. However, since we are required to arrive there by 7AM, it is advisable to spend a night there the day before.

You can also combine your gorilla experience with golden monkey trekking, a Musanze cave tour, Karisimbi or Bisoke volcano hikes, a visit to the famous Dian Fossey Tomb and to the Twin Lakes.

Join us on one of our favourite trips for a once in a lifetime gorilla trekking experience!
